Pistol permit classes and private lessons may both be scheduled at Skungamaug Fish & Game Club in Amston, CT. If you have legal land to shoot on and a group of six or more, I can also come to you. I have regularly scheduled classes every month, or I can accommodate smaller groups or individuals privately for training as well. Please feel free to contact me with questions!

Connecticut pistol permit classes

Earn your NRA Pistol Certification in an eight-hour class that includes classroom training on the fundamentals with hands-on practice, followed by range time with one-on-one instruction. This is the class you need to start the process of applying for a Connecticut State Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers, which is also needed to purchase ammunition, long guns or shotguns in the state of Connecticut.

Private lessons

Develop the marksmanship skills needed to shoot safely and accurately – whether you are looking for more range time after the group class or need a refresher. You may practice with your own firearm if you have your permit, or try different ones from my collection before you get your permit.
